As our Engineering Manager, you’ll lead and grow a high-performing engineering team while staying hands-on. You’ll mentor engineers, contribute to production code and drive technical direction and quality.

This is an intense, hands-on role with full ownership. We expect you to push for excellence and raise the bar.

Where you'll create impact

  • Run planning, standup, retrospectives, and concise meetings
  • Unblock engineers and minimize distractions
  • Partner with Product on roadmap, prioritization and execution
  • Drive delivery of major features and technical initiatives
  • Design and review system architecture, APIs and data models
  • Balance speed, scalability and long-term maintainability

What sets you up for success

  • Hardcore work ethic and high agency
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams
  • Proven track record of shipping products at a high pace
  • Strong experience with Python and React/Next.js (preferred)
  • Experience building scalable APIs and systems
  • Experience leading projects or systems end-to-end
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable operating with high ownership in ambiguous environments
  • Background in fintech is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Equity: $50,000 - $80,000
  • Base salary: $150,000 - $250,000
