About DualEntry
DualEntry is building the OS for finance.
Every business needs a financial system of record, yet the world’s largest fintech market ($220B+) still runs on software from the 1990s, with no new entrants in 30 years. DualEntry’s AI-native ERP automates accounting from data entry to close, so finance teams move faster, spend less and incur less risk.
In just 2 years we’ve raised $100M+ from Lightspeed, Khosla Ventures, Contrary and Google Ventures and earned the trust of customers from $5M ARR to publicly traded companies.
We hire outliers. We’re looking for people with a track record of accomplishing difficult things, whether through their careers or achievements outside of work. You’ll find leaders, colleagues who’ve competed at the highest levels of sport, performed on Broadway, trained with UFC champions and founded the country’s largest Python community - because that’s what it takes to reinvent a $220B industry.
Why This Role Matters Now
We got there by moving incredibly fast and hiring an exceptionally sharp, hard-working and deeply committed team from leading tech and accounting companies - Ramp, Meta, Microsoft, Lyft, PwC, Deloitte, J.P. Morgan, Bloomberg, Sage, Xero and Intuit. And some of us don't have a fancy logo on our resume and are here for a shot to prove ourselves.
We’re a small team, growing fast with huge momentum - join early.
As our Controller, you’ll own the full accounting function end to end - month-end close, reconciliations, controls and financial reporting - and build DualEntry’s financial infrastructure from the ground up: chart of accounts, accounting policies, workflows and audit-ready controls.
You’ll prepare us for our first external audit, partner with the CEO and GTM to connect financial reporting to ARR, burn and unit economics, and hire the accounting team as we scale.
This is an intense, hands-on role with full ownership. We expect you to push for excellence and raise the bar.
