What’s covered
Credit card expenses
- Credit card expenses, item codes, and receipts (including a full receipt download and attachment to transactions) stay in sync between Ramp and DualEntry
- GL-account expense codes are automatically mapped
- Custom classifications sync both ways as custom fields (up to 500 options per field)
- Transactions are matched to related bills in DualEntry. Positive transactions are posted as Direct Expenses; negative transactions are posted as Journal Entries
Reimbursements
- Full line-item sync of expenses, with GL account mapping and item-level detail supported
- Custom fields are supported on each line item
- Bills are created automatically – vendors are automatically created based on user info, and vendor payments are auto-generated with real-time FX rates
Procurement
- POs are synced with line items and attachments
- PO line items are automatically mapped to inventory items, and attachments are pulled from related bills
Bills
- Complete bill payment syncing. Expense and item lines are mapped with GL accounts and classifications
- Custom fields are supported at both line and header level
- Bills sync from DualEntry for payment in Ramp
- DualEntry vendors are pushed to Ramp, and Ramp vendors are pulled into DualEntry with automatic accounting vendor reconciliation
- Invoices retain any external ERP links and include full PDF downloads and attachments (refreshed hourly)
- International bill payments – in USD and in foreign currency – are supported, with vendor payment sync, bank account mapping, and automatic FX calculations
- Payments from international bank accounts in the EU and UK are supported, with automatic bank account mapping via payment details
- Void syncing and credit-memo syncing are also supported
Cashbacks
- Transfers are synced as journal entries (Statement Payments)
- Cashbacks are synced as journal entries (Cashback Redemptions)
- System accounts are fully configurable, with mapping for credit, bank, cashback, bill payment, and reimbursement accounts
- Detailed error capture with retry logic
- Sync status updates are posted back to the Ramp API for visibility
- Two-way account syncing supports 50 accounts per batch, with automatic activation and deactivation options
- Draft bills are supported through a configurable setting for unapproved bills
- Payments handled outside Ramp can be skipped as needed
